We have been slow with maintenance due to work. Had a storm come thru thus the leaves. Just found a sawmill to cut more logs for firepit seating. No cutting & paste was done on site. Going up to get the painting caught up. Steps broke & with the rentals coming in didn't have time to replace.

Our hunting party had a great time. The Trailer (2bdrm) suited our needs just fine. The screened porch adds a lot of extra storage space for someone with fishing or hunting gear .

Had a nice time, but the pictures had us confused on which cabin were were renting. Trailer wasn't quite what we expected, but we made it work.

Had a wonderful stay at the cottage, even though the fish weren't biting! Everything you need is right there, will definately come back.

Spent the 2nd weekend in October at the cottage. Fall colors were fanstastic. Cabin has just about everyting you need. Close to fising the Little Manistee, a little further if you want to fish the big river, but not bad. Would be a good spot to stay if fishing the steelhead run in the spring. Nice to be able to bring the dogs along. Check out the jerky at the Dublin Hardware/Grocery....good stuff.

My husband and I spent a weekend at Deerwood Cottage. We had a very nice time. It has what you mostly need, so no need to pack a lot. Irons is a very nice place to go, lots of nature. It was nice too, that we could bring our little dog. There's a fenced in area and dog door. Our dog loved going outside without a leash. Thanks, Doug and Sally

Perfect location if you are lookin' to kayak on the Pine! Close enough to the abundant liveries, yet far away from the riff-raff. We were a semi large group (8 of us) and found Deerwood accommodating and comfortable for all of us. Nice sleepin' in the screenroom with all the fresh air. Hit up Jackie's Place for a wonderful breakfast buffet!! Thanks Deerwood, you rock!

We've been staying here for three years and are looking forward to the fourth, fifth,sixth,etc...
The cottage is quiet and comforable. And Barb has been very good to work with.(as was Donita) Can't wait till next year.
